Lauren is a Principal Consultant at Block MB, focusing on technology hiring across the UK in engineering, data and AI. She partners with businesses ranging from pre-seed and Series A startups to well-established organisations, helping them find the people they need to grow.

Lauren specialises in mid to senior hires across backend engineering, machine learning, data science, analytics and BI. Her approach is built on strong relationships and on taking the time to understand each client’s pain points, so she can tailor hiring requirements around what the business genuinely needs.

Lauren began her recruitment career four years ago, specialising in data and analytics, before broadening her focus to software engineering and AI. Having worked with clients globally, she has had previous success building out a data science team for a leading consulting firm and made multiple hires for start-up organisations, becoming their go-to external partner.

Outside of work, Lauren has a passion for travelling and visiting new places after her time working abroad in the Maldives, and fitness is a big part of her daily routine. After moving out of London last year, and relocating to the countryside, she loves socialising in the local pubs and coffee shops.
